Clan MacGregor Scotch

As you may or may not know, I am enjoying scotch these days.
I have tried some fabulous scotches thanks to my wife and
my father-in-law.  I have been trying to find good scotches on my own.

I stumbled across an interesting scotch a few days ago.

Clan MacGregor has a number of good things going for it.

1) It's in a glass bottle.
2) It's 'rare' and 'blended'
3) It's from Glasgow, Scotland.
4) It's aged an entire thirty-six months.
5) The cool red plastic cap makes it quicker to pour.
6) It's fun to say 'Clan MacGregor' like Sean Connery

But most importantly, Clan MacGregor is only $4.40 a bottle!

I poured two glasses over ice for the tasting.

Since you should never drink alone, I asked my friend Martin to taste
the scotch with me.  We carefully sampled the fine imported spirit.

Well, it wasn't bad.  It has absolutely no flavor or finish to it.
I'd love to describe the bouquet and taste, but it had no distinguishable
characteristics other than a slight burning sensation as it went down.

It wasn't a 15 year old single malt, but it wasn't nail polish remover either.

But for $4.40, it's a bargain!
