Hunting the Hunters

The Blood Clan (BLD), while new to the Siege Perilous shard, decided that it was time to shut down a few murderers.  BLD rallied at Vesper bank and headed out.

BLD does not care as much about surviving combat with everyone alive as it does about killing the red murderers.  In our view, it is better to die five times and kill the PK, than to live and let the PK get away.  PKs understand only one thing and that is force.  Kill them and they think twice about visiting that spot again.  They really hate it when you get to loot their expensive armor and reagents.

In short order, combat began with Majikal of the FSS.  A couple BLD died and Majikal was able to get away.  Soon after that Ko'Ja appeared and came under our attack.

We chased Ko'Ja from the bridge north of the Compassion desert up almost to the Chaos Shrine area.  When he crossed the server line, we thought he had stopped.  But he kept going and we followed.  A second red came of his house to see what going on.  He too came under our fire and ran.  He got off a Gate spell and went through.  We followed him blindly.

The gate dropped us a little more northwest of where we entered.  At the bottom of the screen was a house.  It seemed to us that the red ran to the house and logged out.  We could not track him.  In front of the house, we found a gold house key.  Looks like the red dropped the key in his hurry to get inside and log out.  We entered the house and looted the ill-gotten gains.  Thanks for the silver, force, and power weapons. The gold GM armor was also very nice.

After dropping our new gear off at the bank, we went to Covetus to wait for the inevitable murderer to show.  Up walked King Henry, an [evil].  After a short chase, King Henry fell to our arrows.

After ressing, he whined a bit that life was tough being an evil and blah, blah, blah.  We gave him back some of his armor and told him to scoot.  He scooted.

Next, we headed to the home of a murderer that harasses the local Vesper populace on their way to the lost lands.  Rimcat, recieved a very special greeting from us.  As you can see, Rimcat isn't too strong when people fight back.  Thanks for the reagents, 30 of each was nice of you to carry.

Hopefully many victims of the foul murderer can rejoice in the death of this blight on society.
Soon after this, the murderer guild UDL appeared outside Covetus.  They slew everyone they saw.  Our fearless leader Grunk fell, so did a newly ressed Rimcat.  UDL is mighty strong, it will be a while before we can take on a group of them in combat with any chance of success.

Without even all the killed reequiping, we headed off to the house of the Wicked Clowns (WC), a known murderer guild.  A person named Dr. Feelgood decided to come along and help.  For some reason, WC had left their door unlocked.  We took the time to drink their potions and rename their extensive rune collection.  Soon, MACE walked up.  Happily, he was grey and we pounced.  He didn't even have time to ban us before he died.

After killing MACE, Ruknar took a minute to kill MACE's horse.  Since the horse was blue, Ruk went grey in killing the horse.  Dr. Feelgood turned out to be a noto-PK and decided this was a good time to kill Ruk.  Well, killing Ruk was Dr. Feelgood's mistake.  We killed him.

Blood Clan is an Anti-PK guild.  Guilds like CE, UDL, FSS, and WC are known PKs and are open game in our book, red or not. As much as we dislike the murderers, they are not the worst kind of player.  At least murderers are red and take the consequences.  Noto-PKs like Dr. Feelgood are the worst.  BLD will take murder counts to stop this kind of behavior.

We headed back to town and bumped into Smilin Sid [evil] just outside Vesper.  He tried to escape into town, but died anyway.

Ruknar, being a dumb orc, tried to loot Sid's corpse in town.  Bad idea.  Here you see Ruk after attempting to loot.

Most of the hunting was done by Grunk Half Orc, Ruknar, Darth, and myself, Glendor.  We were also helped by Ja'Rule.  Find us in Vesper bank if you want to help fight the murderers.
