Talk of the duel had been the rage on battlevortex for a week or so.  Much money was placed on the fight.  Oliver Holmes was holding over 265k before the fight started.  We caught a gate to Wrong.  The fight took place on the Wrong entrance roof.

By the time I arrived, Ishar had won the first fight.  The match was best 2 of 3, so Robin still had a chance to win.  No one was allowed on the roof but Ishar & Robin.  Everyone had to wait down below.  It was hard to see the fight.

The main view of the fight we got was via the life bars.  Often all we could see was the life bars and guess at the action.

The battle stayed even in the beginning.  Ishar seemed on the offensive early.

A DTM member had deja vu at seeing a duel and broke into Sonoma dialect.

Who will get in the first hit?  We almost expected a simultaneous death at this point.

Robin fell.  Ishar was victorious and 50,000 gold richer.

Robin was ressed as people headed to the roof.

We congratulated Ishar on his hard fought win.  Robin did a good job, but I didn't get a chance to congratulate him.

Caramon crys over losing 30k on the fight.

Corwin seemed to annoy a few GC and was killed.

Turtle Chomper [hero] was in attendance and showed off his shield power.  I counted him using it six times.  That's 120 life force.  That's a whole lot of life force to burn up.  'Nuff said.

Arkon wanted to spar and I was happy to oblige.  Too bad the other GC had to get involved and mana dump on me.  Maybe they were afraid GC would lose another duel...

After my death, GC got on a roll and began killing everyone in sight.  Enjoy my harp and kryss guys.  Alora asked to be in the screen shot.  Here she is.
